Rocky’s associates search for his biological father, a drunkard who abandoned his family, and Rocky anoints the unknown man caretaker of his mother’s grave. Rocky recovers it from a police station and brings the place down with a dosk alone. The CBI did not find anything except 400 grams of gold bars in their raids. A young Ingalagi is caught spying by Rocky’s detectives, but Rocky is impressed with his honesty. After Raghavan apprised him about the situation in KGF, he closed all state borders and authorised various CBI officials to raid Rocky’s godowns. Three years later, in 1981, Ramika Sen won the Indian general election and became prime minister. Pandian warns Rocky about Sen’s rising height but he ignores him. Rocky kills Shetty, gaining control in Bombay. Meanwhile, Rocky’s aides threatened ministers against the vote and the no-confidence motion failed. Rocky and his gang kill Adhira’s accomplices with their newly acquired weapons. Adhira’s accomplices suddenly attack rocky’s truck. Rocky’s associates kill Shetty’s associates and recover the Western Coast, and Khalil deals with Rocky and sells him an AK-47. An injured rocky with Reena goes to Dubai to deal with Khalil in gold, but Khalil has already signed a deal with Shetty.
In the meantime, Shetti established relations with Andrews’ other subordinates across the west coast and eliminated Rocky’s associates. Rocky recovers but realizes that The people of Adhira have stopped all the exits. Adhira shoots Rocky but doesn’t kill him. In order to bring Rocky out of KGF, Andrews kills Desai to lure Reena out and John catches Rina. In the meantime, Adhera, who was presumed dead, resurrected and killed all the guards in an outpost.
Some Union ministers, fed up with KGF, planned a no-confidence motion against the DYSS-backed government to bring Ramika Sen to power. Rocky’s popularity caught the attention of CBI officer Kanneganti Raghavan. He issued orders to start work on eight reserve mines. Rocky takes Reena hostage and kills Kamal. Rocky kills the heir apparent Virat and takes over as the king of Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) to the chagrin of Guru Pandian, Andrews, Rajendra Desai and Kamal. His son Vijayendra takes charge of K.G.F: Chapter 2 for him. KGF: Anand Ingalaghi suffered a stroke the night after narrating the incident in Chapter 1.
